AFCEA UK West Chapter – *Rearranged* September 2022 – Richard Bloomfield – Head EW & CBRN – DE&S

AFCEA UK West Chapter – Face-to-Face Meeting.

The first AFCEA (UK)West event will be held on the 13 Oct 22.

It will be held at the Innovation Bridge in Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Abbey Wood in Bristol, where we will be the guests of James Gavin and the Future Capability Group (FCG). There will be a talk presented by Richard Bloomfield, Head EW & CBRN and although a title is to be confirmed, it may well cover EW capabilities in light of international events.

Timings will be the usual, with the start at 1830 and finish by 2130.  Costs will be Non-Members £40, AFCEA members £30 and Civil-Service / Military £25. Drinks and a meal will be included in the price.  We would like to see more Corporates encouraging younger personnel to attend (e.g. grad trainees / apprentices – not just Biz Win / Biz Dev) and place the costs against training budgets as Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

This will be a popular event, but there will be a limit on numbers, so please register your interest with Mike Jensen, our new events coordinator @ , stating your membership status.

For this event will be undertaking due diligence checks for security purposes.

This is a great opening to the season, and I look forward to welcoming you then.
