The New Face of War? A Need to Refresh our Approach to the Digitalisation of our Armed Forces!

The Cyber and C4ISR lessons drawn from the current war in Ukraine, new technologies and the disruption caused by them, and the impact of new nations joining NATO provide a substantial background in the rapidly changing security environment in Europe. The conference aims to reflect the needs of this environment and the influence of the developments in multidomain integration command and control structure will have in the Euro-Atlantic context by discussing:
- Revisited operational requirements & new technologies available for Cyber and C4ISR
- Refreshed procurement processes: Needs and options for new relationships between industry and government
- New solutions and the need for interoperability in the light of Multidomain Operations
- Interoperability of partners and allies, even beyond the military sphere
The conference aims to facilitate a fruitful exchange of ideas and gain insights from military leaders and experts from various nations, NATO representatives and industry who may be highly experienced or rather new to the C4ISR/Cyber domain. It will focus on the contribution that industry, in particular small and medium businesses, can provide to improve the advantages in C4ISR and Cyber operations.
This two-day conference and exposition will feature senior speakers and technical specialists from the UK and other national governments, along with NATO, Industry and academia. The draft programme will be announced shortly, along with invitations for potential speakers to submit abstracts etc.
