AFCEA UK West Chapter – Face-to-Face Meeting.

Maj General Collyer will take the opportunity to outline some of the issues facing the British Army in the near to medium term. This includes the Future Soldier initiative in which a key element will be rapid technological change to stay ahead of near peer adversaries. Digital and cyber technologies as well as robotic and autonomous vehicles such as drones, are having a dramatic effect on how warfare is being conducted now and into the future.

The General will examine these C5ISR challenges and opportunities in the light of the

lessons coming out of Ukraine to give a glimpse of what is coming down the road towards us at a rapid rate of knots.

This will be a fascinating talk from the person leading the Army as it progresses through this intense period of change.
